Past Reminders

Damian shuffled through an old box of photos.  They were all personal pictures, nothing he would use for his portfolio or anything.  Pulling out several pictures he leafed through them smiling at all the memories they held.  Then he came across a photo, one that was as old as his camera, it was the first picture he ever took with it.  It was a picture of him and Logan.  Just the two of them after Logan had gifted him the camera.  He hadn't looked at a picture of the pitbull since he had been put down for being wrongfully accused of biting a human.  Before the memories of Logan had always hurt a little bit, but looking at this picture of him brought a warm feeling to Damian's heart.  While he doubted he could ever love another dog like he had Logan he felt like he was finally ready to move on.  With a soft smile Damian set the picture aside and looked for a frame to place it in.  While Logan might not be with him anymore he deserved better then to be forgotten in a box of old memories.
